A little bit about your new flat mate: You will be living with me! :) My names Elly, I'm a 21 year old fourth year Speech Pathology Student from UQ. I like to think I am a very friendly, easy going person who loves people and engaging with others and I hope we can be become not only great roomies, but great friends! Although it will be just the two of us living in the unit, I do have a long-term boyfriend who may stay over some nights a week but he works full time and is very kind and respectful so you will hardly notice he is there. As I study full time and work casually on my days off, you will likely have lots of time to yourself at home. Although I wouldn't consider myself a neat freak, I would expect us to clean up after ourselves and be respectful of each other's space and belongings, which I'm sure you would want too! What’s great about living in this property? Available is a private bedroom and bathroom (will be shared for laundry only) in this lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment situated across from the river and just a hop, skip and a jump to the UQ Campus, Guyatt Park ferry terminal, bus stops and the St Lucia shops (including a corner store, Nando's, Thai restaurant, Pizza Hut and bakery) I absolutely love living here and after having my sister recently move out month, I am excited to have a new flatmate come and enjoy all that this great apartment and location has to offer! -FEATURES- Your Bedroom and Private veranda: - Great sized private room with double bed, bedside lamp, study desk and desk lamp, heater, built in wardrobe with mirrored roller door and own entrance/exit to large private patio overlooking the lovely pool area. Bathroom: - Own bathroom with large sink, mirror and plenty of draw space. - Multi-function showerhead and bath - Your bathroom contains the washer and dryer, which will be shared (the only time I will enter your bathroom and I will always ask your permission first) - Iron + ironing board Kitchen: - Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: pots, pans, wok, microwave, oven, stove, large fridge with freezer, toasted-sandwich maker, kettle, toaster, blender AND ESPRESSO MACHINE! :D Living Room: - Large flat-screen TV with DVD player - Two large, comfortable sofas (one contains a fold-out double bed for if we ever have visitors) - Three seated dining table and chairs - Printer with photocopier & scanner (welcome to use provided you buy your own ink and paper) Shared Veranda/Outdoor Area: - Large tiled outdoor space with BBQ and six-seater outdoor table and chairs - Stand-up clothes line - Small grassy area and street access with secure gate Extra Info: -On street parking is available right outside our doorstep and I typically opt for this. However, there is a single underground car spot reserved for our unit, which I would happily arrange to share with you. Two hour underground visitor parking and bike spaces in secure car park also available. - All bills included in rent (water, electricity, body corporate, council rates and internet) - As my parents, who live overseas, own the unit, I am definitely looking for someone who will be respectful of their property and its contents ☺ - Very safe and secure complex with swipe card access
